We are headed full force into the holiday season which means holiday parties galore. If you are looking to add a new outfit to this year's party rotation, I have rounded up some options to inspire you. If you act quickly, you might be able to snag some Cyber Monday sales/deals as well.
First up is one of my favorite trends this season- VELVET. I picked up a velvet blazer to incorporate into my holiday wear. I plan to wear it casual with jeans, stepped up a notch with some coated leggings, and up another notch over dresses. I particularly love the velvet slip dresses below (I tried on the Express maxi and adore it, too bad it doesn't come in petite length 😢) and the jumpsuits. I used some high(er) end pieces as inspiration and then hunted down some more affordable options that are great facsimiles. You can click on any of the item descriptions to link out for more info.

More Affordable Options
Not all parties require a fancy dress. I know I have a more casual work holiday party coming up soon that requires something more than jeans but certainly not anything as dressy as the above options. With that in mind, I rounded up some more casual work and family friendly options. Basically, this round up is sweater, shirt, and sweatshirt dresses. Honestly, you don't need a holiday gathering as a reason to pick up one of these beauties; they are so cozy and cute, you can't go wrong with any of them. I wear my sweatshirt and sweater dresses all the time during the winter. Again, just click on the item description to link out to the dress. In some cases, other color alternatives are available.
Express flannel corset dress (this sold out fast, but keep your eyes open for a restock!
Or maybe you are already looking forward to New Year's Eve? If you love all things glitter and sequins, do not let this opportunity to shine pass you by! Here are some of my favorite sparkly dresses. (Click on the product description to link out to the item.)
In case you didn't have enough options above 😳 here are some of the dresses that didn't make it into the featured categories but are just as great. Also, a selection of shoes if you need a new pair (there is no such thing as too many shoe options) and some other great accessories (jewelry & clutches) for your holiday outfits. Pair a velvet sneaker with a sweater or sweatshirt dress. Wear a metalic shoe and a pair of sparkly crawlers (earrings) with a velvet dress. Scroll through the options below for more ideas.
Let me know if you spot something you love but need help figuring out how to style it! I'm happy to email you with some ideas based on your occasion! Do you need any other holiday help?? (Other than your gift shopping!) I didn't do gift guides myself, but I could point you in the direction of some of my favorites from other bloggers if you need gift ideas.
